There is an old lighthouse that stands on a hill near the beach which is the landmark of the place. Going farther from the shoreline are cliffs and picturesque rock-formations. Moreover, the locals are friendly and helpful to the tourists. Certainly an idyllic place for a vacation get-away.

TONDALIGAN BEACH

Tondaligan beach is as memorable as college life. The memories spanned up to teaching life. I remember I and my colleagues, “the hobbits” who were also my boarding housemates, spent several times in that lovely beach. There were times when we had fun and relaxation at tondaligan beach. We used to spend series of nights in that beach enjoying its breezes.  With bottle or bottles of rum or brandy, we exchanged anecdotes and regaled ourselves with stories.
I can recall my uncle who one night invited us to relax in tondaligan beach. “The hobbits” joined me and my uncle. He was a videoke singer. Up to now, he still loves singing.  He has moved to Calgary, Alberta. I heard he availed of housing services from Calgary rentals. He is truly enjoying his work in Canada as a maintenance staff.
My first step on the sands of tondaligan beach was more than 10 years ago yet the memories are vivid on my mind. Many things have changed already. “The hobbits” are gone. My uncle has left for Canada. I am now a father of two. But Bonuan tondaligan beach will remain one of the destinations of many people in the Philippines or in the world.

BORACAY REGENCY RESORT

Boracay made its first foray into tourism in the 1970s, but many global hotel giants didn't take notice until recently. The result is a spread of privately-owned hotels and resorts in Boracay that convey the right mix of five-star service and authentic island atmosphere. This tiny island is only four miles long and barely half a mile wide, but its beaches have landed on 'world's best' lists more than once in the last few years.

White Beach is the most popular tourist destination, with enough services and facilities to keep tourists onsite for their entire holiday. The local Boracay hotels are within walking distance of Boat Station 2 and Boat Station 1, where pump boats from Caticlan arrive four times an hour during peak periods. Caticlan Airport is an important hub for tourists from Manila. From here, it's only a few minutes' walk or tricycle ride to the pier.

Despite the busy resort atmosphere at White Beach, it only takes a few minutes to reach secluded coves and beaches by chartered boat. Nearby Diniwid, Baling-Hai Beach is a great place to take a snorkel and mask, and the adjacent cliffs boast seafood restaurants with spectacular views. Across the narrow isthmus from White Beach is Bulabog Beach, a rugged alternative with fewer tourists and excellent windsurfing conditions.
